Meeting called to order by Tom Nathan at Rick & Susie’s home Time 7:28pm
Thanks to our Hosts Rick & Susie for a great meeting and lots of good snacks.
In attendance: Tom N., Wayne C.,

Treasurer’s report- Jim Brooks
Budget is in good shape.
Jim passed out reports to all in attendance.
Storage Shed Break-In/Equipment Theft:
TV, Laptop, Radio’s, etc were
taken.
POA replaced laptop and Jim has it
loaded.
Tom has been bidding on e-bay and
we have 12 Motorola radios, 9 chargers, and a case.
Tournament Director:
September Open- Matthew & Diana
Olson
Course is in good shape but we will
check in the morning. Jump course is in
good shape also. We will have walk on
the dock both days cooked by Matthew.
B-BQ on Saturday night we have charcoal and extra water.
Need a replacement for safety at
the Bob Barton.
General Supplies/Equipment
New cable for main dock- anchor
lines replaced- talk with Jose from the POA about helping the ski club with the
cost.
We had lots of donations for the
repairing of our jump. Thanks goes out
to all of you.
We had a lot of donations from members who do not even jump but wished to support the club. Need to set up a Jump Fund. Wayne suggested pulling out the jump for the winter to keep it in better shape.
September Open:
John Morton the 3rd will
help Pat set up the jump at 6am Saturday.
Boats are set and we will have a
safety boat. Brandon & Steve offered
boats
We have a nice manageable group of
skiers
Jim tightened and closed the Jump.
Phil A. Jack H. & Brian H. will
help drive jump.
Tom e-mailed everyone about the
B-BQ ahead of time.
Huge and Rick will be selling
t-shirts at the tournament only 12 left.
Jim & Carol have been sticking
to the official policy and requesting the late charge. We have had a few skiers decide not to ski in
the tournament if they had to pay the late charge.
Finalize By-Laws Changes:
After much discussion the Updated By-Laws were anonymously passed. John M 3rd motioned to approve, Huge 2nd, passed anonymously. Most of the discussion was regarding guest policy’s regarding the POA owner not being present with the guests.
2007 Tournament Planning:
Tom suggested dropping one of our
tournaments because he thinks we do not have enough Officials willing to work
at the tournaments. We had a lot of
opinions about that issue. Need more
skiers to help at tournaments- Huge will have CPA & CPR classes again this
year. We will have Tec Control (free
entry) added to the Officials for our 3 event tournaments in 2007.
Old Business:
Add signs in back area- floating
signs. Huge suggested passing out
flyers.
What exactly should we have on the
signs & flyers?? Still Tabled.
Dock Web Cam need to talk with John
M 3rd DSL or Cable??
Learn to Ski Days were a huge
success thanks to Huge, Deb S., Bruce, Wayne, Barbara, Diana O., etc…. We had two afternoons one in July and one in
August. Great attendance and the kids
had a great time and did learn how to ski.
Next meeting in October. (Destination to be announced)
